As we approach the final hours of 2012 and await the New Year I am taking the time to reflect on all the events of the past twelve months. Each month has brought its highs and its lows and although I could bore you with the details suffice to say .... it certainly has been eventful.
Over - shadowing everything was the safe arrival of Harry on 06 November 2012. This little boy has crept into our hearts and now his very being has changed our lives.

To all who read my blog I thank you...........
The past twenty days have seen me reading the very inspirational messages from Tracy Carr who spoke at the Stampin' Up Leadership Training Day at the beginning of September.
The months leading up to September have been a little fraught for me for although I have had my wonderful
times I have also had to cope with the fact that my elder daughter is expecting her first child and so for me my first grandchild and therefore there are many changes in my life once again.
BUT
as always I have come through the other side smiling.

I cannot believe that the Jubilee weekend which was anticipated with great joy by me, as it meant no work for four days, has come and gone.
The ear ache which was plaguing me the last time I 'blogged' ,reared its ugly head again just prior to the weekend but was so severe this time that by Thursday apart from not going to work I also had to cancel attending the project class Teri had scheduled for that evening. I , suprisingly, went to the doctor and was given antibiotic eardrops which have now, some forty-eight hours later done the trick, and I am feeling much better. I have also been able to put in loads of sleep credits as I was told not to show my face at work until Monday! I do find it really strange to sleep away the daylight hours but it is evident that that is exactly what was needed!

Half way through May already ( well nearly give or take a day or two!)
Stampin'Up Regional Training in Reading was good fun even if I wasn't feeling at my best.....my ear started feeling as if it was stuffed with cotton wool and I just couldn't hear properly.
Although we spent the Sunday with Georgie (my niece) at Cribbs Causeway by the time I arrived at work on Monday morning my voice was really croaky. It has taken me the last two weeks to recover from this 'lergy and I still am coughing. I have been most generous though and have given my germs to Abbie. Hope you are feeling better now?
Yesterday it was Teri's fabulous Summer Mini Catalogue Event in Rode. A group of eighteen of us spent a wonderful few hours playing with the new stamps, ribbon, and papers from this catalogue and came away with our lovely creations.
I was incredibly lucky, again, and managed to win some lovely raffle prizes! In fact I think I may be banned from purchasing any tickets in the future as I have really been on a 'winning streak' this year as far as raffles are concerned. Unfortunately I have not yet won the Lottery.

I think we all feel the same? Where do the days and weeks go?
Here we are , nearing the end of April and therefore a quarter of the way through 2012!!
This weekend Sam and Zeke are getting married, This wedding has been in the making since I started working at the pharmacy in November 2009. I had the privilege of making their wedding invitations and place cards which I completed in November last year. This week I made their wedding favours which I actually finished in the early hours of this morning. Sam took delivery of them this afternoon in preparation for the great day on Sunday. It was really amusing last night when I was filling the mini milk cartons with treats to have four pairs of eyes watching my every move in case I should drop a sweet!!
As yet I am not too sure what to wear to this wedding but have something in mind, just hope the weather is dry?
After this event the next fabulous one is Regional training with Stampin'Up in Reading on 28 April, can't wait! Must away and start on those swaps..... there are gping to be 126 of us so probably will need about 60 of them...eek!

It is, I know, rather late on Sunday evening and although I should be in bed and fast asleep, here I am blogging!!!
Only TWO weeks until Easter! I have such a lot to do before then as I have promised the gang that we shall have a proper Easter this year so I am planning to go all out with decorations and of course lots of lovely scrummy chocolate!!
Of course that will also involve lots of cards to friends and relatives as well as beautiful boxes, baskets and the like so I had better start crafting.......well, now that the evenings are going to be lighter what better than a couple of hours of my favourite hobby after a trirng and yes it will be tiring day at the pharmacy.

Cannot believe that just over another week has flashed by and I don't seem to have a lot to show for the passing of the days. My last four days of leave went really quickly and before I knew it, it was the dawn chorus and back to work with a vengeance.
However these last four days have also sped by and it is nearly the weekend. last weekend I purchased a tutorial from another Stampin'Up! demonstrator and so am hoping to try and recreate her project this weekend as the boss's birthday is just around the corner

I am now more than halfway through my weeks leave.......how quickly the days pass. I have deliberately not planned too much as I really wanted the benefit of having a break, in fact a' holiday'. So I have done some housework ( not too much as it isn't very good for me), I have entertained, I have crafted, I have visited with fellow crafters, attended a class, attended a meeting...............and still have FOUR days to go!
